PupsPaste started at home with my red golden, Thumper, also known as Mr. Good Boy, head of quality control, and the toughest critic I know. Like a lot of dog parents, I knew brushing mattered, but actually keeping up with it felt harder than it should.

I didn’t want a mass-produced toothpaste built around artificial chemicals just so it could sit on a shelf for years. I wanted something made with real, organic ingredients, familiar flavors dogs actually like, and a texture that fit naturally into everyday life. So I started mixing small batches at home, running lots of variations, testing different ideas, and paying close attention to what actually worked with Thumper.
